Approach

The survey and analysis tool “PRO-EQUALITY” enables organizations of all kinds to ask employees about their perceptions of internal gender equality independently. This tool is designed for company and division managers, as well as human resource professionals, who want to foster gender equality in the workplace. It can be downloaded for free from the internet and ensures that anyone who participates in the survey remains anonymous.

An initial quick test on workplace equality consists of nine questions, does not require registration, and provides an overview of the current situation. To conduct a more comprehensive survey, the person in charge receives access to the online survey tool. There, they can coordinate the survey independently and directly send invitations to employees. Employees will need about 20 to 30 minutes to complete the questionnaire, while the online survey administrator will need about 30 to 40 minutes.

Effect

The tool automatically evaluates the survey’s results, which can then be viewed in the online tool and filtered by the participants’ age, function, employment status, or age. The evaluation also allows the survey administrator to compare his or her own online analysis with the employee evaluations. In addition, the data is used to determine the central fields of action where the company needs to improve. Some specific suggestions come directly from the tool itself.
